Segment A includes 12 miles of 42-inch diameter welded steel pipeline through Thornton and Adams County. Segment A is 78% complete at the end of 2025. Project will be complete in the second quarter of 2026.

(Phase 1) Pipeline status along Quebec St. between 120th Ave to 168th Ave.:
- Construction:
- 5.5 miles of pipe has been installed.
- Pipeline tie in work is active north and south of the E-470 tunnel.
- Pipeline work is ongoing north/south of Todd Creek.
- Pipeline work is ongoing south of Fossil Ridge Public Safety Center and in the Horizon Tributary.
- Ongoing restoration of easements to pre-existing conditions.
(Phase 2) Pipeline status south and west of the intersection at E 120th Ave and Quebec St. to the Wes Brown Water Treatment plant near E 88th Ave and Colorado Blvd.:
- Construction:
- 4.5 miles of pipe has been installed.
- Ongoing pipe installation on both sides of the intersection of Riverdale Road and 112th Ave.
- Pipe installation activities along the south/west side of McKay Road between 104th Ave. and the McKay Tunnel.
- Pipe installation near the Wes Brown Treatment Plant entrance for the future connection and PRV vault.
- Tunneling operations at 88th Ave. west of the Platte River.
- Restoration activities between McKay Road and 112th Ave. and north of 112th Ave. on private property.
- Ongoing restoration of easements to pre-existing conditions.
