Drought Monitor & Snowpack Update
As of April 2, the South Platte Basin snowpack (Thornton’s main water supply source) is at 120 percent of normal. Please click on the image below to see the snowpack map.
Below is the Colorado Drought Monitor map from March 26, 2019. The Clear Creek and South Platte River headwaters are now drought free with Abnormally Dry (D0) conditions on the southeastern fringes of the basin.
